Linens Count: 620

On November 22nd, 2014, Linens N Love takes its boxes of hope and warmth and gathers at HIS House, Placentia.

HIS House (Homeless Intervention Shelter) is not your typical homeless shelter.  Standing by the Placentia Presbyterian Church and painted a warm and cheery yellow, this home can support up to 50 people in need at once. A water conservation friendly garden rests by the entrance complete with thriving aloe, and tiny hummingbirds flit by and linger by the flowers.

We had come bearing a car full of boxes, only stopping to wave at the kids who had their tiny faces pressed up against the glass, some as young as age three or four. And when they made faces at us, we made faces back.

We had driven back with empty trunks, satisfaction, and a warm feeling of content.

A big hug and thank you to Lindsay, Kristen, Skylar, Vivian, and May.
